Taffy walked through the forest. She stepped right into some mud. Taffy wrinkled her nose and pulled her foot out. She was used to her flower gardens, not mud and roots. She heard something and turned towards it. A fluffy light brown she-cat with two white ribbons and a black tom with brown edged ears and green eyes stepped out of the forest. "Hello!" The she-cat said. "I'm Ribbon and this is Ebony!" Ribbon smiled. "And who are you?" "I-I-I'm Candy." Taffy stuttered, not used to cats other than Oak, Toad, her mother and her father. "Oh, can we eat you then?" Ribbon teased and walked further down the rock. Taffy sniffed again and got their scent. Ribbon smelled like mud with a hint of winter wind and Ebony smelled like snow and ashes with a hint of the same muddy smell. "SoOOOooo are you here alone little kit." Ebony said. Taffy didn't say anything. "You even smell like candy. Taffy is the strongest." Ribbon said and walked onto solid ground right in front of Taffy. Taffy took a step back and quivered. "Don't worry." Ribbon smiled. Taffy realized for the first time her ears were pressed together with her ribbons. They didn't look like they were normally there. "Who-who are y-ou?" Taffy stammered. Ribbon frowned. "We already told you." Taffy didn't say anything. Ribbon smiled again. "Where are you going?" "T-to the C-clans." Taffy stammered. "Hey, Ebony," Ribbon called to her friend. "Can we take Candy to the clans?" He just nodded. Ribbon smiled and looked back at Taffy. "Alright, come on now." And all three of them walked into the forest.
