Hi! Im Glen and this is a storage account! You can find me on @NorthGlens if you're looking for me I will be applying for Treaclekit :D I never know what to say it these, which is technically a fact in itself. Hi Im Glen, Im a highschooler, I spend an absurd amount of time that I should be using to do homework or sleep drawing battle cats. I'm a bit socially awkward and might be slow to reply to conversations but I promise I don't bite ! I currently have Spiritfalcon, a Shadowclan cat who is 39(40?) moons old. I have! and I promise :) Ah- another question I never know how to answer! I've kind of been roleplaying as long as I can remember on a slow gradient between playing imagination games with my friends to DnD to internet roleplay, but I've only recently (within the last year or so) started treating it as a skill to improve with any sincerity. Treacle would keep her assigned gender but would be pan, woman leaning Activity level! I don't know. I've been a bit inactive recently, but I always have a few running roleplays and try to start new ones every now and then. 6-7/10? Unfortunatly I'm a junior and have a job so Im often short on time ^^' I do not! If the situation calls for a charecter to be hurt physically or mentally they will.Treacle is a sensitive cat, so in her case specifically she might be a bit more prone to emotional wounds. I don't think I have a tendancy to kill off charecters early :) If Treacle was human she would probably be one of those people who likes candycorn, despite everyone declairing their distatste for the treats. She's definitely a fan of flowers, and maybe a bit impartial to weeds like dandylions. If she was not a cat I feel she would smell like oranges 24/7 because she found a shampoo that smells like them and has been using it for the last decade. (all of this is true I think. She seems like that kind of guy.) Treacle Treaclekit is an odd kind of strong, alive with wonder for the world and a determination to prove that everyone and everything within it is worth loving, regardless of its danger or crimes. Her quiet withdrawn nature leads her to be less likely to mention her feelings, but she’s often looking on with bright shining eyes. She may not speak much, but every word that she shares is full of love and warmth, however shaky her voice. Tough (+) Tumbles and falls are for getting up from, and impossible climbs are for trying. If you don’t what are you missing beyond that last branch? She wants to see everything and live her life to the fullest, so she’s not going to let doubt get her down, even if it does often fill her head. Loving (+) No one is exempt from her loving gaze, regardless of what you’ve done to her. She’s drawn to tend and care for others, as well as happy to do anything that makes them happy. She adores seeing other cats smile. Self-Aware (+) She knows how she is feeling and why, down to small details. This is because she spends so much time with just herself, watching others and thinking. She isn’t always able to mitigate bad emotions (in fact very rarely) with because of this, but she certainly tries. Observant (+) With so much love for the world, of course she wants to pick up every detail. More often than not you’ll find the soft-spoken kit watching from quiet corners, eyes shining with adoration. Forgiving (+) Cats make mistakes, and she sees so much good in them. In her eyes everyone deserves second chances, and maybe third and forth chances as well. She has no qualms about spending time with those the clan deems unlovable. Quiet (=) When she does speak her voice tends to be quiet and small. She isn’t much of a presence when she enters a room, as she rarely does anything to draw attention to herself. Poetic (=) She thinks through her words very carefully before she speaks, so they tend to come out in flowery language. She thinks like this also, often wondering about every little pretty thing she sees. Open-Book (=) Every feeling of hers is worn on her sleeve, to the point that even the most unobservant kitten could tell how she was feeling at any given moment.
Shy (-) Speaking to others doesn’t come easily to this little one, and she often remains quiet instead of sharing an opinion on anything. When she does manage to get a word in with a stranger her voice often wavers. Rigid (-) The world has rules in place that make it run smoothly, and they're there for a reason. Treacle isn't exactly one to step out of line, even for the best reasons. She's the kid in the back of the class telling the teacher that they forgot to assign homework. Rule-breaking around her involves one very tiny voice begging you to turn back every other step. Socially Sensitive (-) Treaclekit isn’t built for arguments and is prone to tears at the slightest snap. She fears others being angry at her more than anything and can be found overreacting to any slight sign of annoyance from others. Gullible (-) Due to her tendency to forgive, she is incredibly easy to manipulate. Her second chances become a weapon when in the wrong hands, and she is unlikely to pay much mind to strong red flags. Indecisive (-) Making decisions is absolutely impossible for Treaclekit, and she will waffle on decisions for moons before finally making a choice. Even then, she has a bad habit of second guessing herself again and again. This makes any decisions she does make very hard to stick to. Tucked away in the nursury where the safety of her mothers paws were only a tail length away, Treaclekit watched the world go by outside, breath caught in her throat with wonder at the ordinary daily hubub. Each cat that wandered past, be it carrying moss into the elders den or striding proud back into camp with a good catch had a parents like her mama and papa and even a past. The idea of the world being made up of so much made the still-small kit feel so very tiny in comparision. She burrowed her head under her paws with a squeak, not wanting to think too much about it. In the nursury it was warm and safe and simple. She thought she might stay inside just a bit longer. The sun beamed down just beyond the nursury's entrance, and Treaclekit could feel it's warmth, even shaded beneath the nursury's overhang. The week had been full of overhanging clouds and rainstorms, which while interesting in their own right were much less tempting to head out into, expecially considering that she was still unsure on her paws and didn't want to end up face first in a puddle. Today, she decided, was the day she'd finally leave the den. So on charecteristically wobbley legs she fought herself to her feet, setting her sights ahead. Walking seemed to come easier to her siblings but she was sure she'd figure it out eventually. As she made her way tentitively out of the den, the sun's beams fell on her face, and she turned her head upwards, instinctively closing her eyes against the sun's bright beams. It ws brilliant, like the feeling of waking up on your own terms, all warm between your siblings. The biggest grin split her face and she dashed forward, falling and rolling at the end so her belly was up and she could feel nothing but the sun's warmth, filling her with giggles and joy that spilled uncontrollably from her mouth. "Mama! Papa! Espie, Buttermilk, Butterscotch!" This was a moment for sharing, she thought. https://wagwalking.com/cat/condition/ataxia I would have Treacle have Celebral Ataxia specifically, which would affect her balance and is a nerological issue. It causes head tremors, a wider stance, exagerated movements and a swaying motion. https://lifewithchcats.com/2011/09/30/degrees-of-cerebellar-hypoplasia/ She would be born with moderate celebral ataxia, and it would improve to mild as she grew, but with the most change in apprenticship. This is because she would be using her limbs the most and cats tend to improve with use. Cats tend to still be able to move about just fine with celebral ataxia, just with a wider stance and wobbly posture. I assume this would make it more difficult to learn to walk, and would take a bit more focus. Treaclekit would be prone to falling. It will not slow her down much, due to her being tough- She'll just get back up. https://www.cats.org.uk/help-and-advice/health/disabled-cats/cats-with-cerebellar-hypoplasia The resulting head tremors worsen when a cat is trying to focus, so she would struggle with any delicate tasks. While this does make it difficult, balance is much more difficult to maintain when non-balance related hunting is done, as cats are more likely to fall when moving fast, so In the end she may just have to work twice as hard to do as well as her peers because all of warrior training is very focused work, but in milder cases like Gordon's from the second(?) link it seems like they would be prefectly capable of hunting after solid work learning to balance. Im basing her case mostly off of Gorden's so he's a pretty good example Here a direct link to the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLlL24shW7E&t=7s out of space!
