Oceanheart ◈ Prologue Cinnamonpaw regrets becoming a medicine cat (the prologue takes place 18 moons before the first chapter) Also this chapter is way longer than I intended for it to be, the next few ones will be a lot shorter so they hopefully will come out quicker Click the right side of the screen, space, or right arrow to go to the next page. Click the left side of the screen or left arrow to go back. No recoloring, tracing, claiming my art as your own/using my art without credit, or any other form of art theft (that includes remixing without changing anything) Hm. The prophecy part was executed much better in my mind. I suppose it’s too late to go back now :/
Next ◈ https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/840509200/ Original ◈ https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/519841694/ (I wouldn't recommend reading the original series due to the amount of spoilers for this version, but go ahead if you want. Just don't mention spoilers anywhere besides on those original chapters if you do) Characters in this chapter: Cinnamonpaw Mintyoak (belongs to @SparkleUnicornGirl12) Water spirit thing Whitepaw/tail Redstar Lionpaw Featherpaw/star Ocean Cookie (?) Made with both Medibang and Kleki. Why did I use both? No idea Inspirations: Warrior Cats (obviously) Flying in the Dark by @LinkScratchStar CreekClan's Fables by @Foxcakes10 Tales of Perfectheart by @9rainbowtails (and now for me to rant about random things regarding the series as if I don't already do that enough on my pf) Alright, so I'm remaking Oceanheart because the original was trash. This time however, it has a prologue. Also that prophecy took me a while to think of- Ignore how many times my art style changed (especially with the water), this took a year to make because of procrastination I didn't actually intend for page 4 to be a top view, the background hadn't turned out right but I didn't wanna redraw it so I just did that lol Also yes I know most pages mostly just show a background but every bg turns out better than the last so I just feel like making it the main part of the pages- I don't yet have a solid plot, just little bits and pieces of it, so if you come back to this in a year or so and the prophecy has changed that's why Also the prologue was something I was originally only gonna make for school, I was making a written version of it but never finished it since I'd have to explain everything about Warrior Cats beforehand and that was way too much to write, so over 2 years later I finally made it in comic form I kind of forgot this is a prologue instead of just some fun flashback chapter and went straight ahead to introducing future characters and stuff and forgot about the lore until the last second update from 7.18.25 the prophecy disappeared. why. why that of all 63 backdrops in this project to glitch and be replaced by the question mark thing. sobs I wonder how long it's actually been gone for, I haven't read this entire thing in a while- anyways I ended up redrawing it and it looks way better than the original, yay I once spent 5 hours writing the plot down in a google doc, it didn't even have small details or dialogue, when I realized it was 5 am I wasn’t even halfway done so I had to summarize the rest of it in a few words per event and leave out a lot of things. A few months later I spent 2 whole hours just explaining the first 15 chapters to my mom, except it was the original version so it was way shorter. I'm in the middle of writing the events of each chapter and I'm at chapter 56 and Oceanheart is still an apprentice. This is gonna be a (very) long story
