I'm a girl and I remixed this because I agree! Females and males MUST be treated equally! We might look different and think different but we are both humans, aren't we? ----------------------------------------------------------------- Girls aren't objects! I've heard a few boys say that they are just going to get 'rid' of their girlfriends, and I was really annoyed at that. Girls aren't just objecting to get rid of. We are people, and we matter a lot, too. Sign this if you agree with me. ----------------------------------------------------------------- TW objectification: My school has uniforms but on select days we can wear what we'd like to school. So on one of those days another girl, who's usually very confident and loud was wearing something that was a bit tight on her chest. During lunch, she was lying on the ground talking to a group and one of the boys (who happens to be sexist) decided to stare at her chest. She immediately noticed and she went from loud and confident to quiet and uncomfortable in a second. Thankfully some other girls who were apart of this conversation noticed and stood up for her. I don't want this to happen to anyone else. No one, no matter their gender, should feel objectified. And no one should be victim blamed. - @smilebehappyawesome ----------------------------------------------------------------- We are putting on a play at school. My character from the original play is a male, and his costume is shirtless. When the boys in my play group found this out, they started to joke around about how my chest was going to be bear on the performance day. They also made jokes about my stomach later on. It is NOT okay to make jokes like that. But anyways, it still felt terrible. I felt like I should be ashamed of my body. Ashamed that my chest shows more than other girls my age. Ashamed that I dont have a flat stomach. Ashamed of my body. ASHAMED THAT IM A GIRL. Girls have never been treated the same. Its time to change that. Stand up, and make your voices grow loud. Stand up, be apart from the crowd. You cannot let them bring you down. Dont be ashamed like I was, be proud. @sara_the_empath
