Hello, and welcome to the raycaster maze! I have done quite a few raycasters, but this one is unique. I'll explain why later on. *IMPORTANT STUFF STARTS HERE* Using WASD or the arrow keys, navigate your way through the levels to find the legendary area with a green stripe along the walls. You'll know what it is when you see it. *IMPORTANT STUFF ENDS HERE* This was a coding challenge and a unique raycaster because it is tile-list based, not sprite based. This means that it can have a level editor (exclusive to me) and less lag. The raycaster itself, along with the level editor, is either drawn or stamped, so no clones are needed, speeding up things a lot. The UI is cloned, though, but it's not that bad. All in all, this was a really fun coding journey, and I learned a lot of useful tools for future projects. Thanks to Kevin Macleod for the music. Thanks to soundbible.com for the sound effects. 1,024 blocks. Quite nice for something so functional but fundamentally simple and done in a short period of time.
