Back when I was 15, I never would have even considered leaving scratch, it was my only form of communication with others during the pandemic when I was incredibly lonely but now that's different, and I'm 17. I never really felt it before but now I definitely do feel too old to be on Scratch. It becomes tiring to be the only mature person in a website that is meant to be for people way younger than me. And I'm not just talking about the website, I mean the people. I don't need scratch like I once did and I'd rather move to another platform with people my age and limit my interactions to just certain people (not to say I hate any of you, you have all been so kind to me!). I want to use this opportunity to spend less time on the internet and start making a conscious effort in real life, to stop being immature, spend more time with the people I care about, and improve my social & other life skills. Scratch wasn't meant to last forever for me, and I don't know for sure if I'll ever return, but I'll miss you all and I might occasionally check in because I know I'm probably gonna end up regretting this. Best of luck in life, everyone! To my closest friends: I'll miss you all especially, but I'm sure we'll meet again someday! I'll certainly look back on all this as bittersweet memories.
