Story piece background: Ever since the beginning of her life, Floette (named Moonlight), was the protecter and guardian of the girl's life (Kaosaki). No matter where Kaosaki went as a feeble and vulnerable child, the flower guardian - she would always follow, watching the child grow into a beautiful lady. They were closer than siblings and their bonds blossomed into a tree of harmony with each other. When Kaosaki turned 16, she learnt something ominous happening in her world as a Pokemon trainer. A tragedy happened nearby between some legendary spirits resting near her hometown and many people fell sick. This led to war between people and pokemon as they all fought for this sickness to end. As a florist, she would always deliver herbs and flowers with supernatural healing abilities to help others. Moonlight would always help her with tendering the special yet also unique plants in the greenhouse they used played together in long ago. Everything seemed to go well as people were cured from their illnesses from the florist and her Floette. That was until Kaosaki fell ill one day, due to the sickness. Severely unable to tender the flowers, the grief-stricken Moonlight sacrificed something special in order to restore her. Moonlight had to sacrifice her life to fight in the raging war, as a result of granting a wish to save Kaosaki. ... 'Moonlight, before you go, take this treat with you. I will always look for you when this war is over. Promise that you will visit me one day.' (Goodbye, I vow to protect you for eternity.
