Ivy was breaking the law. It was forbidden for any girl, ESPECIALLY her to be out in the forest alone. Yet, she was doing it. She clutched her bow, the one she had handcrafted herself, carefully carved with designs throughout the wood. She continued to silently follow the deer she was hunting, following its tracks through the woods. Soon she came across the clearing, and saw a deer snacking on some grass, she readied her bow, preparing for the shot. "IVY!" a voice said, ringing through the forest. The deer looked up, seeing her, and sprinted away. She spun around, seeing the poor guard assigned to watch her, named Alvar. "What are you doing out here?" he demanded. "Um....hunting...." Ivy said. "You snuck out of your room, went out of my sight, and could have been k1lled! You should know how many wild animals are out here. And the rumors of murderous elves." Ivy rolled her eyes. "You're just trying to prove to my dad that you aren't a failure after you messed up that raid on the Kingdom of Kassin." Alvar scowled at the reminder. "You better watch your tongue, Princess. Now we are going to head back to the castle together, and you ARE NOT going to escape again." Ivy frowned. "Fine." she said, beginning to follow him back. ------- Two green eyes silently watched the exchange between the princess and the guard. After they began to head back, the orange cat began to follow them, stealthy. 'I won't fail you my king.' she thought, as she followed. 'I promise.'
