Hi! Enjoy the 7th part of Princess Justice! :)) (btw, thank you guys for 200+ followers! :00 should I do something special??) -- Part 7 Marinette's POV Princess Justice glanced out of the window with a half smile, then turned to where Hawkmoth was standing defensively in the corner of the room. “It looks like your son is coming to your rescue, Mr. Agreste.” A brief flash of confusion went across Hawkmoth’s face at the mention of Adrien and Princess Justice let out a delighted laugh at his cluelessness. Boy, was it going to be fun when Hawkmoth realized that one of the teenagers he’d spent nearly two years flinging danger at was his own son who he was 'oh, so protective' of. The irony was almost comical. "You don't know what you're doing." Hawkmoth growled suddenly, the first words he'd spoken since Princess Justice had found him. Turning to face him, she gave him an amused, almost patronizing expression. "Oh? And what exactly do I not know what I'm doing? Because to me, it looks more like /you/ don't know what you're doing - especially with such powerful jewels like the Black Cat and Ladybug miraculous." Glancing out the window again, she tapped her staff against the cold, dark marble floor rhythmically. Hawkmoth glared at her. "I /need/ those miraculous. All I want is to bring my wife back!” Princess Justice tilted her head, mildly intrigued at this new information. Emilie. Adrien’s mother. “I might’ve had to make some sacrifices on the way, but it’ll all be worth it once I get my hands on Ladybug and Chat Noir’s miraculous and bring my love back.” “Don't you know there are consequences to using the Ladybug and Black Cat miraculous to make a wish?” Princess Justice asked curiously. “A wish like yours could do serious damage to the world.” Hawkmoth scoffed. “The rest of the world can burn if it means that I get my wife back! I don’t care about the consequences!” Just to see how he would react, Princess Justice said, “What if the consequence is losing your son in exchange for your wife’s life? Would you still make the wish?” Hawkmoth fell silent, avoiding Princess Justice’s eyes. “Wow,” she snorted, twirling her staff in her hands. “Some kind of father you are.” In response, Hawkmoth snapped, “You don’t understand! You-” A loud crash sounded from below in the first floor of the Agreste mansion. “Shut up.” Princess Justice hissed, whipping her staff at Hawkmoth, the tip of it glowing white and he winced, leaning away from the weapon - which, in a way, had been his own creation with akumatizing Princess Justice and everything. Eyeing Hawkmoth, Princess Justice tilted her head, listening to the faint voices below and smiled. Predictably, her kitty cat had come to find her - and brought some familiar friends. This was going to be fun. - Prev. Next. - <3 mira/artsii (/)
