Fundraising has a slight side effect of raising support, but it is very small. Advertising is energy efficient, but not money efficient Rallying is money efficient, but not energy efficient. It has the special effect of being more effective in states with small populations
This game was made using historical information of the 2020 presidential election. This is a presidential election simulator based on the US elections, so the rules are different from other countries. Every state has a number of electoral votes. Whichever candidate has the most votes in each state gets ALL of that state's electoral votes. You have 18 turns until November 3rd, when the election happens. The election results in each state are slightly randomized, so upsets are possible in swing states where the lean percentage is very close (50-55%) update 12/8/2022 The populist/elitist traits have been changed so they apply to states with <5 million voters instead of <2 million, so they have more effect. Advertisements have been made cheaper so they don't burn through your money super quickly. Diminishing returns added for influencing a state that has more than 70% lean in either direction, so you can't make the District of columbia have more than 100% support lol
