The Prophesied Queen Chapter 11: The Darkness Sam and Vena's mouths fell open when Avery and Conner (Or Jimmy, I guess...) relayed what happened during their little adventure. "So you're his- and you're her-" Vena fell silent, completely at a loss of words. "Yup." Avery said, popping the 'p'. "We're related." Sam blinked, and said," So, erm, what are we supposed to do now?" "That's simple," Conner said, "We reunite." "But I thought you already did reunite??" Vena said, not quite getting it. "Not FULLY." Avery said, "There is still one more, and they might help us with my crazy cousin." So you mean..." Sam and Vena stared at the two of them. "You can't be serious!!!" Vena cried, "The books say he died a long time ago!!" "Well," Conner said stubbornly, "We've done the impossible a few hundred years ago!" Avery smirked, thinking that they had them now. And she was right. Samantha caved in and said, "Fine... So what do we do? How can Vena and I help?" "Well, we have to go to the Elven Library for that!" Avery said way to happily. "Huh?" "You know, the place where Scott's people's kept their books. I thought you read history books?" Samantha's face turned red. "Did you expect me to remember all that information?!" Ry shrugged. "You have a point, I guess." "Can we go now?" Cone pleaded. "I'm tired from standing up." The three girls rolled their eyes. "Sure Ice Cream Cone." Ry retorted, earning an angry look from Conner, and a couple of giggles. ~**~**~**~**~**~ Avery sat down cross-legged, studying the book she had just found in a secret room through a trapdoor. Considering her last experiences with trapdoors, she decided to get the book that was lying forlornly on the floor, dusty and forgotten. She looked at the book, her eyes straining to see details in the dull light. She could barely make out the words that were scribbled on with a pencil. "Scott's Diary." written in elegant cursive letters. Excited for answers, she flipped through the book like a hunter looks for their prey. And she found it. She found it in a passage. It read (In hastily written yet neat handwriting): Hello Journal, I've been feeling rather glum. I've told nobody of my probably, no definitely, fatal plan. Not even Jimmy. The book in the library has given me a clue to defeat Xornoth. A very dangerous one, at that. I don't know how this'll affect everything. I think that one of us has to go so that BOTH of us will go. And I'll be the one to go first. By the sword. I don't know how this'll affect our daughter, Avery, or the entire world, really. But I'll hope I can save some time... Well, I've almost filled this page, so I suppose I'll have to end my last passage here. Goodbye, Scott, King of Rivendale. Avery looked at the passage, her mouth gaping like a fish. She stood up as fast as she could, and ran. "Guys!!! Guys!!!!" She yelled at the top of her lungs. "I got answers!!" "You do?" Jimmy, Sam, and, Vena said. "What????" "Read this." And he did. "Oh, Scott, why did you have to do this?" Jimmy murmured. "We have the info." Sam said. "We should get going to the place." As much as she hated it, Avery knew that Sam was right. So they went and left. ~**~**~**~**~**~**~**~ They were walking quickly; they had heard a crunch, and, not wanting to deal with Ry's demonic cousin, they were walking/jogging as fast as they could. "We're here..." Sam whispered. "We're actually here..." What is this place? you may ask. It's Rivendale. The REAL Rivendale. And they were here for more answers, to try and do their very much ridiculous plan. To try and go to a place where no one except he has gone. To try and go to an alternate reality.
