Instructions

Chapter 4 “Ok, we’re gonna go to the lobby and battle.” Sunny said after Cloudy was done raging at Rainy. “See you!” Tsunami called as her team walked off. In the lobby, Sunny perked up. “Hey, the mode for Ranked Battles is Tower Control!” She chose it. “Yes!” Cloudy pumped his fist. “Ok, the other team should be here right about… now!” Rainy said, just as a group of amber-haired Inklings spawned. “Clay!” Sunny hugged the tall, broad shouldered Inkilng. “Hey, sis! Get ready, it’s starting!” The teams spawned at Moray Towers. ‘GO!’ Sunny and Cloudy rained ink down with their weapons before jumping down. Snowy and Rainy inked around the spawn point. Clay (3rd person pov) Clay watched Sunny take her usual high vantage point. He smiled. “You just can’t stop going there, can you?” He inked the wall below her and swam up, raising his Flingza Roller. “Sunny!” He turned to see Cloudy charging up his Heavy Splatling Remix. Below, Marsh used Ink Armor. “Not today!” Clay splatted Sunny, then squid jumped to Sora. 3rd person (all) Team Swamp all were splatted. As they respawned, Clay’s eyes widened. “Oh *woomy*...” Every member of Team Weather had their special gauges filled. Sunny and Snowy rose into the air, while Rainy had Tenta Missiles on his shoulders. Cloudy pulled out an Autobomb Launched. Sunny smiled. “My turn, Clay.” She whispered. 3rd person (Team Swamp) Clay watched as Team Weather all activated their specials. Marsh used Ink Armor, but it wasn’t enough. Sora watched in horror as the team was surrounded by Autobombs, bottles filled with ink converging on them, and two HUGE balls of ink were hurled at them. All heck was rained down on them. Team Weather pov Cloudy checked the team counter. Only 3 on the opposing team had died. “Wha- only three players!?” He spluttered. Rainy looked over to Sunny and Snowy. Or rather, Snowy dodging ink as Sunny’s gear sank. Cloudy and Rainy were splatted by an autobomb. Snowy threw a seeker bomb, and it splatted Crane, who had been hiding in a tiny puddle of ink. An ink mine almost got Snowy, but she jumped and dodged in midair. Somehow, she dodged onto the tower, which neither team had been paying attention to. ‘5!’ The timer counted down. ‘4!’ Sunny helped Snowy splat anyone who tried to get to the tower. ‘3!’ The tower was almost to the end. ‘2!’ Snowy splatted Clay. ‘GAME!’ Snowy had reached the end checkpoint, earning Team Weather a KO bonus. Clay and the rest of Team Swamp congratulated them on their win. “Well, see you! We’re gonna go get Crusty Sean’s.”
