When I first read Keeper of the Lost Cities, I was on team So-Single. I mean, I actually didn't like any of the characters (even Keefe!) except for Bronte (He was my favorite character ngl). But as the KOTLC series got better and better, I started to like Keefe more. We got to see a more darker and depressing side of him, hiding under the mask of humor. And Sophie was the only person who could see under that mask and comfort him. A fatal flaw Keefe has is his guilt. Everything terrible his mom does, Keefe feels enormously guilty. He believes that everything is his fault even though he can't control it. And Sophie can reassure him that nothing was his fault and helps him escape from the darkness. And I mean, come on! They look so adorably cute together! Anyway, they both have crazy strong abilities. I mean, Keefe literally ripped away Sophie, Ro, Sandor, Elwin and Fitz's emotions away with a single word! And Sophie can teleport anywhere she desires and can inflict agonizing pain on someone. And another thing is that they're both imperfect. Keefe isn't perfect and neither is Sophie! They both equal each other with Sophie's caution and Keefe's recklessness (Buuuuuuut I kinda feel like Sophie got more reckless and Keefe got more careful). They both are confident when they are with each other and they literally have dark pasts, where as Fitz had a perfect Vacker life. Keefe, having terrible parents and have been verbally abused his whole life, while Sophie suffered headaches and the raw truth about what other people think about her in the Forbidden Cities. They understand each other like no one does, and this is why I believe that Sokeefe/Team Foster-Keefe/Keephie/Whatever is the best ship! I FINISHED MY WHOLE FRACKING ESSAY.
