Chapter 5 “I hope we match against someone good!” Sunny exclaimed. “S-Sunny?” A timid voice asked. She turned to find a black-haired inkling with spectacles behind her. “Starflight! What are you doing here?” She said, smiling. Starflight adjusted his spectacles. “A-apparently we’re battling you?” He replied. A tall Octoling shouldered past him. “Of course we’re battling you!” Reaper said, smirking. “Oi, death!” Cloudy called. Reaper turned. “Hey there grumpy face!” They walked off a bit. A black-haired inkling and Octoling both walked over. “Hey, Moon! How are you?” Sunny greeted the Inkling girl. She turned to the Octoling. “And Dream!” “Hey!” Dream said, smiling and waving a hand at Snowy. She turned back to Sunny. “U-um… can we maybe get food?” Moon asked. “Great idea! Let’s go over to Crusty Sean’s.” Rainy said. Cloudy facepalmed. “Is that all you ever think about? Food?” He muttered. “What?” Rainy said, holding up his hands. “I get hungry easily.” Suddenly, a random person dumped a bucket of water on Cloudy’s head, then ran. Cloudy respawned. He breathed out with a huff, then turned into a squid. “I’m done.” He slid away. “…we should probably go after him.” Rainy said after an awkward silence. Cloudy “Of course they’d do that. Why would hanging out with them be any different?” Cloudy muttered, still in squid form. Sliding away, he went in a circle and ended up back in Inkopolis. He was mumbling and grumbling so much that he didn’t realize he wasn’t going where he wanted until he fell down a grate. “Waah!” He panicked, flailing his arms. ‘This is it.’ He thought. ‘I’m gonna d!e. I didn’t even get to-‘ He popped out of the grate. “What the-“ He looked around, confused. He was on a platform. In the distance, he could see giant rock formations that looked like… octopus tentacles? Spinning, he noticed a small shack. There was a figure next to it with an umbrella. She turned to him, twirling it. “Hello there. So you’re the new agent. Agent 3.” She said. “What?” The person started rambling about the Octarian army, the Great Zapfish, and missing people. Cloudy had no clue as to what in the name of the Great Zapfish was going on. “Got it? Great. Now, here’s your gear.” She chucked a pair of shoes at his face, and suddenly he found himself in unfamiliar clothes. “Go get ‘em, Agent 3.” She pushed him into another grate. He popped out holding a weapon he’d never seen before. “What in the Great Zapfish is going on!?” Back with the group “We can’t find him, and Reaper’s gone too.” Dream said. “We can’t find him either. Snowy’s on the building.” Sunny replied, worried. “We’re gonna go look over there…” Starflight said. “Ok…” Rainy said. Team Night (excluding Reaper) headed off to look in a different spot.
