hey guys! this is my Tower of Nero book review! this review is my review from goodreads. ✪ SPOILER REVIEW✪ okay okay okay people! The end of the camp half blood Chronicles whyyyyy ahhhhhh. . in my opinion Trials of Apollo is pretty underatted and needs more love but first can we address the solangelo in here tho please. ITS AMAZING. THE WILL LAMPSHADE PART BHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH- im dying Nico deserves all this sunshine in the world. “He had been born in Mussolini’s Italy. He had survived decades in the time-warp reality of the Lotus Casino. He’d emerged in modern times disoriented and culture-shocked, arrived at Camp Half-Blood, and promptly lost his sister Bianca to a dangerous quest. He had wandered the Labyrinth in self-imposed exile, being tortured and brainwashed by a malevolent ghost. He’d overcome everyone’s distrust and emerged from the Battle of Manhattan as a hero. He’d been captured by giants during the rise of Gaea. He’d wandered Tartarus alone and somehow managed to come out alive. And through it all, he’d struggled with his upbringing as a conservative Catholic Italian male from the 1930s Anyone who could survive all that had more resilience than Stygian iron.” *sighs this whole paragraph* He's been through too muchhhh. But also the dynamic between will and Apollo is hilarious but also concerning APOLLO PAY ATTENTION TO UR CHILDREN but like the fact that Will was taking care of Apollo is hilarious. Then Mr.D's reaction is priceless "I cant believe dad punished someone even harsher than me" tells you everything about daddy zeus and the MR.A thing bhahahhahahahahahah as you can see i'm losing it. anyway the fact that Zeus didn't even care (MEGA SPOILER) that Jason died is even worse. Then the Nero battles were like intense and everyone was waiting 4 percy and annabeth but no they didn't really show up that often. First there was a problem and then a twist and then boom boom everything was so fast paced. There was so much character devolpment pain and characters there that were mind blowing. IF PERSASSY AND LESTER TEAMED UP BHAHAHAHA imagine the SASSSS. He's gone past whining and being sort of a over inflated ego annoying god to awesome maybe not THAT heroic but a hero nonetheless the character development with Apollo though was so much you cant wrap ur head around blah im rambling here. I think meg is a good character and all i just cant tell you why she bugs me sometimes. The right word for the character development was INSANE slow but INSANE. Meg was like literally abused and had to deal with all of Nero's mind games she definitely became a stronger character. The mentAL HEALTH representation is whoa piper dealing w/ her grief and megs trauma and like every characters inner flaws and narrative is digged deep and is so Raw. But like can we talk about how Lu's literal hands were very severely hurt but she was like yeah imm finnee. And seeing Paul and Sally and Estelle was very refreshing . the hiuakas were amazing as always . To be honest in the end zeus deserved a slap. the ending felt really good and like we all cant wait for the Solangelo adventure book and the 6th pjo book.
