Sorry this is kinda long.
At school the next day I talked to Kelsee. We were just talking about random stuff when this girl that kinda looked emo came up and started talking to Kelsee. “Hey deaf head. Who’s your little girlfriend?” Deaf head? I looked at Kelsee and realized she had a hearing aid on. “Leave me alone Lunette.” I snicker. Lunette is a funny name to me. “What are you laughing about?” Lunette asks me. “ None of your business.” I snap. I don’t know why I was mad. “Well geez, it was only a question.” She says bitterly. “Well if you're not here to do anything remotely close to important then leave us alone.” I say. Lunette apparently didn’t like getting talked back to because she grabbed my arm and literally dragged me to a nearby tree. “Listen, I don’t know who you are, but I only have one rule. Are you listening?” I nod. I’m not scared. I've dealt with much worse. “NEVER,” she continues, “talk back to me. Got it?! I’ll make sure you regret it.” “Oh. I’m so scared.” I say sarcastically. She looks at me for a long, long time before leaving. “Emo!” I shout after her. I know it’s wrong, but it feels good. Lunette spins around. “Be prepared tomorrow.” she says. I don’t know what she means by that, but I’m not scared. I go back to Kelsee. “That was really brave of you, Lelia. I could never stand up to her like that.” she says. “Oh, I’ve dealt with much, MUCH worse. She’s just an emo who likes to pick on people. I’m not scared.” But deep deep down, I am.
