This game was developed from the game "Amazons" in Ben Orlin's amazing book, Math Games With Bad Drawings. Each player takes turns moving a piece and then rolling an exploding bowling ball. Pieces can move any distance up/down, side-to-side, or at 45 degrees (like a chess queen). The player who can still move at the end wins. Click a player then click where to move them then click which way to roll the bomb. The bomb will travel until it hits someone or just before an open space.
Thanks to Ben Orlin for the idea and to the North Branch School students for the motivation!
