This is a character exchange. You will get credit for your designs. Everyone will get a design by the end and give a design ! . You don't need to celebrate christmas to participate . I will handle the gift exchange. so don't agree with or tell anyone about the gift you made. * * * FAQ [ frequently asked questions] * * * Q. You didn't add my gift to the completed gifts studio / i fixed an entry that i made! A. Please lmk on my profile. With 280+ entries, i am bound to miss some and need a little help :,) Q. what is this? what is a secret santa? A. [edited] a gift exchange but you don't know who will give you a gift until the end. The difference between this and normal secret santas is: You will not get to choose who your gift is for. Q. What is a gift? A. Remix this project with a character design sheet. The entire project and any designs or art it contains will be the gift. Q. Will everybody get a design? A. Everybody who enters will receive a design. If there is an odd number of contestants, I will donate a character that i have ^^ Q. I have questions about the wishlist. A: That's okay, you don't need to use the wishlist at all to participate. Please check out this studio if you want to use it or have any questions. and always comment if you have specific questions! Q. If I make someone a gift from their wishlist, should I tell them? A. No. it'll be more secret if you don't ! plus, i will assign characters to people, so they might not receive the character you made ! Q. Do I have to use a wishlist to make a character design sheet? A. Nope! Your character design can be anything as long as it follows the rules. Q. Can I enter multiple times? A. Sure! However, you are only guaranteed one gift. Q. Will the gift I receive be random? A. No. I'll try to match people with the type of designs they wished for. Otherwise, I'll match designs with similar art skill levels and/or complexity. This is so hopefully, each contestant gets what they give! Q. Can we choose our gifts or who gets our gifts in any way? A. No, sorry. I'll sort that out. Q: do we have to sign up or ask to join? A: absolutely not! you can just go go go! Q: is traditional art allowed? A: yes, but unless you strongly believe in your cameras clarity, digital art is preferred for clarity's sake. Q: Will I keep the character i make? Will someone else take credit for the design? A: the character you make will not stay yours , they will belong to the person who receives them ! However , do not claim that a character was designed by you if it is a gift. That is impolite--always credit the original designer, please! Q. what if whoever is supposed to receive my character is inactive? A. If the person who is supposed to receive your character isn't responding to any messages i send them after January 5th, and you've noticed, contact me. you will get to keep both. Q. Have the rules changed since you made this project A. ah well not really. i've added one rule, and clarified others. Q. what if two people draw the same request? A. hasn't happened yet! and even if it did, the extra would go to someone who didn't ask for anything specific. Q. Can I say in the project which description from the wishlist i'm using? A. Sure! Q. When will we receive the gifts? A. Obviously, it would be best to receive them on Christmas. I'm already working hard at sorting through them! ^^ Q. How likely is it that I will receive what I ask for? A. Most people won't receive exactly what they asked for.
