Last Part - An Enmity of Love "Oh, Alessandra, my dream was to own the hotel with you! To work together with you, taking care of the hotel as friends and sisters, so I could enjoy my work with my most favourite person in the world. I want to be with my sister. Is that wrong? That's why I want you to come. That's why I came." Alessandra then realised the largest mistake in her life. "I should have been with Clara that day, instead of hiding." she thought, feeling like crying. "Maybe she would have stayed with me, or taken me with her in her car, and we could both be together in heaven. Instead, I let a silly misunderstanding affect my whole life. A mean thought of my sister took her away from my life forever. " Alessandra decided that she would let her sister die happily, if she was going to anyway. "Clara, I've decided I'm going to come and work with you in the hotel. We can work as best buddies! Forever! Don't worry, I'll be with you." she said. The look of delight and happiness in her sister's face broke her heart even more, when it should have made her happy. Alessandra felt so bad that she couldn't fulfil her dear little sister's wish. "Alessandra, you really mean that? Thank you, thank you! I can't wait to work with you! You're the best sister in the world! said Clara, and hugged her. Alessandra couldn't hold her emotions. Tears poured sadly as she gave her sister the last hug. Alessandra saw Tara looking at her pitifully. "One minute, I need to go to the restroom." said Clara, and stood up to go. Once Clara had gone inside, the clock started ticking. "Oh, no, no, no!" said Alessandra, but it was no use. She would have to go. "Eat the candy!" said Tara. Alessandra hesitated. "I want to see Clara one last time. Please." "You have to eat the candy. Just eat it." said Tara firmly. Tears now gushing down her face, Alessandra put the bittersweet black candy in her mouth. She felt sick. She started to blur. In the corner of her eye, she saw Clara coming. She tried to call her, tell her to not go in her car, to go on the train, or to stay in Waco for some days, but it was no use. Clara couldn't hear or see her. "Did you see my sister? She said she'd come with me to our hotel." asked Clara to Tara. Tara, defending Alessandra, said "Don't worry. She just left for the hotel to be there before you." Clara looked happy and smiled. And before Alessandra could see anything else, she had come to the present. She was now in the quiet shop, where Tara and Marissa were sitting next to her. Now realizing Clara was gone forever, she started crying. She cried so much that her eyes started to puff. Tara and Marissa tried to calm her down, but were only successful after 10 minutes. Alessandra then wiped her face of tears, breathed in, and thought, "At least she was happy." Very sad and tired, Alessandra bid goodbye to Tara and Marissa and walked back to her car, which she started and left. But instead of going to her home, she went to El Paso instead, to make amends. She wasn't going to break the promise she made to her sister. She was going to go and take care of the hotel. "I finally saw Clara. I made things right. But I couldn't stop her. I saw her once. but it's not enough. I want to see her again." I thought. "Just one last time.
