Sometimes the code lags so you may need to click the flag a couple times to get it correct. My apologies. It's been a pleasure to enter for the little fish man! I'm glad to be here, and I wish all my luck to my competitors! The flash warning is mostly because the transition into the meme bit basically rapid fires near the end of the build up. Please read through the rest of this for the bio and backstory I made for them. I've done a backstory and bio, I apologize for the length. I try to keep everything short, well, short to my standards at least. -Name; Koi -Age; about 15 in cat years -Species; Salmon cat hybrid -Gender; Male, he/him -Personality; Anxious lil shy child, loves swimming in hot springs (not too hot), mostly relaxed and calm Likes; Hot springs, roses, coral, fish, fairytales, the ocean, his human friend Dislikes; Snow, ice, lightning, sharp things, ketchup (the food), carrots Fears; Lightning, ketchup (as in not the food), has phonophobia (the fear of loud noises) Backstory; Koi grew up in salty oceans with his siblings. Venturing upstream with his family every spring to spend a week in the forest on the surface. When he was two in human years he met a human, about seven years of age while at the beach. They quickly became close friends, and grew up together. Koi's first time above water was with this friend, when he was 4 in human years. The human had brought some chicken for him to try, but couldn't bring it to the water due to an injury. So Koi nervously swam out to take the food. He was about half the size of his human friend, who was in awe of what he really looked like. But soon after, he would venture to the surface more often. The two grew up together, playing on the small beach they claimed as their own. Going on many imaginary adventures together. As Koi watched the human grow up. One day, the human came with something new. A fish tank, smiling. The human drew in the sand an explanation, while Koi could understand what the human was saying, they communicated better through pictures. "I have to leave soon for school, but I don't want to leave you. My new home will be big enough for you to have your own room." The human verbally explained while pointing at the pictures. "The tank I brought is for travel. When we get there I plan to set up a pool for you to swim in. I can teach you how to use a whiteboard and markers so we can talk. That is, if you want to come along." They finished, pointing at the last picture. Koi jumped up and down excitedly, nuzzling the human's hand. He meowed in agreement, still bouncing. The human laughed and nodded. they erased the pictures in the sand and started drawing again. "Perfect! There's some stuff in the tank we can use to fill it up with the water from the ocean. We can get started now if you want." Koi waited for the human to point at the last image before nodded and walking over to the box they had brought. Weeks later, Koi was happily swimming in a pool made just for him. His ear flicked as he heard a door open and slam shut. He jumped out of the water and rean to the door of his room excitedly. The handle twisted, and the door opened. He happily made a chirping noise to welcome the human back home.. Life was perfect, as the human would call it. It was everything Koi wanted and more.
Design; @paichuu Art; Mine Coding; Mine Song; Selection Meme (Idk where the original audio is from) This was literally my first time tweening using code at all, and I think I did pretty good. I do say it's odd tweening with code, I've done it in editing programs using keyframes but not like this. Quite the experience! How do other artists do this?? Some of the timings may be weird or off because if is my first attempt at tweening on scratch.
