I still think it would be cool to make something out of it, but it's not my main priority anymore and I'm just a lot more passionate about Human DLD. Well uh, hi again, happy new years eve lol I felt like I should give a bit of an update about DLD, considering how I've been more-or-less radio silent about it for a long time. You already read the title, so yes, I've made my characters human. Admittedly I'm kind of early to post this, I haven't finished every character's ref, but I wanted to finally reveal the human characters so they don't need to be kept a secret anymore. If you've kept up with DLD, you might've noticed the really slow development of it. Sure, animation takes a while, but the animations I make tend to only take like a day or a few to make, yet DLD hasn't even really finished its first part after like 2 years, why is that? Well, I do still really want to make Kirby DLD, there's a lot of stuff that'd be exclusive to Kirby DLD (like the lore, as it's all built upon Kirby lore, which I feel like I have a really good understanding of at this point), but honestly, I kinda just lost the drive to work on the big projects, as for the smaller projects, I feel like that flame is kinda dying out too. Yes, I enjoy making them, but recently I've been running out of ideas and motivation for them. I don't want to say that I'll be leaving Scratch now or soon, but idk, maybe don't expect too much project posting activity on this account for the foreseeable future. So, if Kirby DLD gets cancelled, what about Human DLD? What will that be? I'd actually like to make it a game, a 3D platformer to be specific. I don't wanna say too much about it since I don't wanna let anyone down with me maybe being too ambitious and not being able to deliver, but also because DLD is going through extreme growing pains at the moment. I'm really sorry if anyone is upset by this, again, I'd really like to make Kirby DLD, I just doubt it's actually gonna happen, but this new direction is where I want to take the series and I feel a lot more excited to work on Human DLD than Kirby DLD. Though, thanks y'all for having been excited for Kirby DLD, it's really great to know that people actually care about DLD, despite how little I share about it.
