Princess Crystal was the first ruler of the crystal empire, she is the mother of Princess Cadence's father, her husband is unknown but anyways, when her son got his cutie mark she told him. "When I die you will rule the crystal empire." but that had made King Sombra mad. he wanted to be the next ruler, so then he declared war, but Princess Crystal failed, then King Sombra teleported her to a forest where he froze her body, and toke her wings and horn away. after that he made her go mad and hungry, then he cut off her mane and tail, and took away her color so nobody would remember her when they'd see her, but years later her son came back to her, only he could remember who she was, but she had told him to go away, and that she was a monster, so months later he came back again saying that he had a daughter, she was very happy. but after he left he never came back for a long time, so she was alone, but she still lives now, walking about the Everfree forest...................... This is what she looked like when she was the princess before King Sombra took everything away from her.
