ouch this thing got suuper compressed anyways l/r arrows or click (mobile friendly!!) credits are at the bottom of notes & credits, there are 92 drawings btw anyways drawing review (split bcos too long) === 1: bug studies - im in one of my school's art classes and we had to do bug studies. I like how they turned out! the bugs are: female gypsy moth, aphids, japanese beetle, cactus flower bee, stickbug and a fake insect i dubbed rose firefly. 2: colour wheel tessalation - another art assignment, painting around the edges of my pattern was such a nightmare lol 3/4: shoes in sharpie - more art assignments, both are good 5: charcoal fruits - art assignment, probably one of my best pieces this year 6: chance - yes shes a meowstic, yes shes in the elite 4. i basically stole the sables soil and threw that concept at her haha 7-36: inktober - this challenge was awful do not reccommend (the prompt list was bad too, also scratch team do i need to censor the pew pew in "heist") 37: blue ink owl - the very first art assignment of the school year!! 38: fennec - he's default outfitting here 39: yinyang koi fish - lazy art assignment but its still ok 40: my cat - the chinese translates into "small fat cat" and thats exactly what she is ^v^ i did this one on a roadtrip lol 41: fruitberries - superior green man does the ok hand B) i actually really like this one i think i nailed it 42: reductive charcoal fruits - art assignment, to do this you smear charcoal into a smooth layer and then use eraser to "draw" in the highlights. i remember hating this process lol 43: bug girl - i lovelovelove this design and i plan on making her an oc! 44-45: shape studies - art assignment. if youre looking to get better at art, shape studies are incredibly good to do since you can study the way that light hits onto objects! 46: my cat again - first time i properly used my prismacolors. she looks really scruffy but still cute 47: flower crown piplup - piiiiplup \o/ i have found over time that i default to drawing piplups and my cat if i get really bored 48: friends - if you go to 2021's yearly, they're there too! 49: grian - this was my first ever drawing w/ prismacolors (as a kind of test). i like prismacolors and they're so easy to layer but they dont go on 100% coverage so press down a little harder after all your layering and stuff 50: starchild owen - fun fact i drew a second starchild (starchild sera) but i neglected to develop their characters and they faded into irrelevancy 51: the ukcrane - any ukranians out there, know that i support you guys <3 52: desmos cat - the math hurted my head but im super proud of the result! this took at least 4 or 5 hours lol (and no the ears dont have a gradient its just the way the photo took) 53: my cat/chat/gato/猫 - what a cutie, so photogenic! surprisingly this only took 2 hours 54: wynn prototype ref sheet - he's a gym leader for my concept region. very early designs that definitely have been revised by now. fun fact, he hates harsh winter so his pokemon are slightly more weak to ice types!! 55: pink25 - a good team and great to watch!! i hope g man has gotten enough sleep after that event lol 56: bug girl returns - awesome design returns again!! 57: canadian cappuccino - this was a contest entry (not on scratch) and i won that contest! 58-60: dream/grian/techno autumn scene redraw - o7 techno rest in peace king. anyways i told ya im going to redraw this every year and this rendition is ok. some of the proportions are a little off though 61: sunset - it was so alluring with its pinks and corals that i couldnt resist drawing it! 62: martyn first win - im very happy that martyn finally got his long-deserved win! although... 63: cyan 23 - ...i was rooting for cyan that event :( 64: grian & the red mangroves - i loved the mangrove charity stream, the map was awesome 65: canadaball - maple syrup moment (the colours are a bit bright for the eyes but its still nice) 66: yt channel banner - go to the 2020 yearly and you'll find a mushroom drawing that looks suspiciously like this channel banner :) 67: pixel mockingbird - tried the dot brush on ibispaintx for this one and its fine, just make sure to stick to the same size brush or youll have different sized pixels in your drawing 68: picrew styled thing - my favourite part is the background which is surprising because it took like 2 seconds to draw 69: socketduo - i wanted them to team for the longest time... my wish got granted a couple months later in mcc25 and mcc 26
