Dog, cat, rabbit, or something else? The kitten known as Beastlykit, that's who! He's energetic, even when his little limbs fail him and his health deteriorates. Playful, heartfelt, gentle, curious, friendly, over-sensitive, naive, and oblivious, Beastlykit is the near opposite of his namesake. Unlike his siblings, Beastly wasn't blessed physically - in fact, he was born hideous; a monster. But he's not letting any of that stop him. He's genuine and friendly, though wise enough not to smile too much when first meeting someone. He's very honest with his emotions and lets everything go to his heart. He is gentle and soft-spoken, despite his rowdy behavior. He enjoys nature -- flowers and their petals, specifically. He feels like the flowers remind him of himself. "The petals are delicate and soft, just like me underneath all this... fur." Sometimes the large kit's emotions get the better of him and he gets hurt, or, in the process, hurts others. Oblivious to the horrible things some people say about his appearance, he goes through life with an atmosphere of naivety and pleasant cluelessness. He knows how they look, and how they stare, but he doesn't realize how deep the extent of their feelings for him go. ┆after ⬎ A dark, ominous creature approaches you as a menacing light gleams in its fiery gold eyes. A shiver runs up your spine. Is the nightmare finally becoming a reality? Beastly has undergone many a trial and trauma to get to the cat he is now. Living with Laughingstock and surviving on his own have made this brittle-boned feline a rock-solid force of nature. He's bold, assertive, steadfast, protective, cunning, reserved, heartless, hateful, and aggressive. Many like to say that you aren't born, you're made. In Beastly's case, this quote rings with a certain truth. He's become bolder, and more ambitious as he's grown up. No longer afraid of the dark and the terrors within it, this large tom becomes the terror of the terrors. He strides into a room with such purpose, such authority - how could you not want to follow him? Friendliness turned into assertiveness the moment he realized that others would follow his command if he would only lead them. No one would need to make choices when they had him around. Despite this and everything else, Beastly is steadfast and true; unlike when he was left alone on the sandy shores as a kit, he will never leave nor forsake anyone who is under his authority and care. He's fiercely protective of those within his inner circle. He's cunning and reserved, showing no emotion as he plots his next master-minded plan. Despite appearing like a brute, this tom is quite intelligent and uses his appearance to his advantage. Because of the hard-earned affection, he was used to when he was younger, Beastly has become quite calloused and heartless in most matters. No matter how many lives he may hurt or the tears he may cause, his mind will remain resolute and will only be swayed through logical reasoning. Aggressiveness came after the shocking breakthrough of "the Beast;" or from the way, he realized, people looked at him and what they said about him. He would never, ever again allow them that pleasure. Strike hard and strike first, and never let them have the opportunity to rise against you again. Lastly, he is hateful, mainly because of the lack of love in his life. Whether or not he might admit it, he envies those with loving homes and families. Why should they enjoy the comfort of knowing you are enough, no matter your performance? They shouldn't! They don't deserve it! Don't think that it won't come back to bite. [continued] . 6 ⟶ his end sexuality would be hetero-asexual and hetero-aromantic, but this doesn't mean that he is against finding love. he is capable of finding love, though no one said the relationship would be perfect. . 7 ⟶ my activity is bound to be sporadic, but on a scale of 1-10, it's probably around a 7/10. i usually check in once a day for a few hours before logging back out. unless something really out-of-the-blue happens, i will always give a warning before going offline for a long time. (ex., when on vacation, grounded, etc.) . 8 ⟶ i love raspberries, but i also love chocolate... what would that combo taste like, i wonder? they'd look really pretty set up on a small tea platter, with a vase full of peonies and lilies set as the centerpiece. . 9 ⟶ i am applying for Beastlykit for several reasons. first off, i'm looking to join TFCRP through one of its many litters because i'd like a "smooth entry" into the roleplaying world created here. second, his design shocked me! when i first saw it i felt appalled, but now i think i'm in love. he's so incredibly unique and i think he'd be amazing to roleplay! lastly, i'd enjoy getting to play a cat so vastly different from the common ones typically seen. . 10 ⟶ to be honest, questions like these confuse me. i don't want to sound arrogant in my response, but i also don't want to sound shy. so i think this is the best way for me to answer it: i think i should win Beastlykit because of my commitment levels. i would keep him to a ripe ol' age and would see some significant character development and events happen that you wouldn't see with just any character. he's special and needs - no, requires - a roleplayer with enough experience to roleplay him well. that's why i think i should win him. . 11 ⟶ link: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/651517/ . 12 ⟶ i'm going to divide this into smaller sections, just to make it easier :) werewolf syndrome: a syndrome characterized by out-of-control hair growth around the face, legs, and extremities. unlike other cats, Beastly's hair would never stop growing. unless it gets cut (using claws, for example) regularly, his hair could obscure his vision, his hearing, and his eating capabilities. it could also obstruct the bowel excretion process and cause him to become both very dirty and irritated. throughout his life, this will be something he struggles with until he learns how to use his claws to essentially "cut" away some of the excess hair. this will be an ongoing process for him. overgrown teeth: also known as malocclusion of the teeth, this disease is characterized by mouth injuries, soft tissue defects, teeth fractures, and wear on the teeth. commonly associated signs of this include (for example), an overbite, underbite, or open bite. it causes trouble chewing, and picking up food, and may cause the cat to eat larger pieces. beastly will have an overbite with longer upper canines that grow up past the sides of his jaws. his inner teeth will be longer as well and misaligned, and his front teeth will be worse than his back. osteogenesis imperfecta (aka, ol): called "true brittle-bone disease," this genetic mutation causes bone fragility. this results in recurring fractures from minimal trauma or even spontaneously, meaning that beastly will live life in fear while he dictates through fear. he will end up injured severely through his broken bones and will become extremely cautious, though this will not be told to anyone except for a significant other or someone else close to him. this won’t be as common as he gets older, because (for the sake of roleplaying) his bones will become “stronger” over time.
