I think there was a scene in the first book when Sophie finds out that Grady and edaline don’t want to adopt her anymore, so she goes out into the yard and sulks while listening to loud music. Then Grady comes out and starts pouring out his heart and soul apologizing but like, she doesn’t hear any of it because she is listening to heavy metal or something.
