Here r my theories and opinions on it! ✮ What is BLACKPINK? - So if u don’t know, BLACKPINK is a worldwide famous South Korean girl band. They r the most popular girl band in the world! They contain the 4 members Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa. Their company is YG Entertainment. ✮ Most recent song and album - Their most recent album is called “Born Pink”. Their most recent song is “Shut down”. If u haven’t watched the m/v but if ur a blink, you’ll notice this in the “Shut Down” m/v. ✮ Abt “Shut Down” - Ok so “shut down” has shown a lot of references and scenes from their old m/v’s. These m/v’s include BOOMBAYAH, DDU-DU-DDU-DU, Playing With Fire, Whistle, and Kill this love. If u also didn’t notice this, in the background with all of those posters on the walls, they all included all of BLACKPINK song names. Watch the m/v again and look carefully and u might notice them. Since they’ve shown a lot of references this could be a disbandment song. But there’s another reason why they might disband. ✮ 2023 contract - So BLACKPINK has a contract to renew in 2023. If they renew it, their career will keep going. If they don’t, then they have disbanded. No one knows if BLACKPINK has alr renewed the contract or if they r planning to renew it or not. ✮ If BLACKPINK does disband… what will happen to their careers? - So this is just my opinion but here’s what I’ll think happen : Rosé - She’ll become a soloist. She’ll probs stay in YG or debut under another company. Jisoo - She’ll leave YG and focus on acting and be a famous actress. Jennie - She’ll also leave YG and work on modeling. Lisa - Maybe a soloist like Rosé as well.
