Y'all know I mean Blue Shells only mode Also it's cool that like 4 of these tracks(Boo Lake, Rock Rock Mountain, Maple Treeway, & Merry Mountain) use anti gravity. Which has only been done once before in a DLC track(Sky High Sundae).
1. 3DS Rainbow Road - It's the best Rainbow Road, 'nuff said 2. Maple Treeway - Despite being so happy that they chose this one, I didn't expect to be as blown away as I was. The track is so beautiful, and it's still a really fun one. Also the testing grounds for Blue Shell only mode. Which is amazing, and the round earned a slot in my favorite highlight reels. 3. Merry Mountain - For being a snow track, this is amazing. For being any track, this is amazing. In the theming anyway. It's an absolute joy to play on, even if it isn't interesting. And anti-gravity. 4. Rock Rock Mountain - A solid and enjoyable track. One that utilizes anti-gravity, and one that I've figured out a three mushroom shortcut which is super fun to do. 5. Berlin Byways - Worse than both Wave 2 city tracks, but still pretty good. I don't understand why you can launch off the Whomps, but whatever. The cars add a lot to what would otherwise be a dull track. 6. London Loop - Still better than both Wave 1 city tracks, although only marginally better than Paris. Even the free roaming Chain Chomps couldn't do it for me. I do like the tight feeling this track gives off though. 7. Peach Gardens - This track hates me I guess. In the three times I've played it, I've been winning until finally just getting passed inexplicably at the end due to people mushrooming through the flowers, and then I always fall into the water. Which NEVER happens. I AM good at this game. I think. Aaaaanyway, this track is pretty good in its design at points, but the end bit/secret 3rd lap path both feel extremely empty, with little/no trees. And it's super weird feeling and I don't like it. 8. Boo Lake - No surprise here, I wasn't expecting anything amazing. In fact I saw it and immediately put it down as my likely least favorite. I was right.
