Press space key or click for the next page. Full Personality: Caracal is compassionate. She automatically leans toward helping dragons, specifically dragonets. It doesn't matter if she knows them. She isn't automatically suspicious of everyone unless they warrant it or she just dislikes them. She hates inflicting pain on other dragons (unless they've done something to her) and often uses her medical skill to aid poor or struggling dragons for free. She has a lot of patience with young dragonets (those about one to three years old in Human). She values intelligence highly and tends to look with contempt on those who lack it. She attended a prestigious university and studied SandWing history, herbalism, medicine, and epidemiology. Caracal is a scrollworm, and one of her favorite activities is to be inside on a cold day, reading a good scroll. While she likes medical, herbalism, and history scrolls, she also enjoys fiction, particularly mysteries. As a note, she's also very stubborn and refuses to compromise her beliefs. She doesn't believe in the monarchy, for one, and so refuses to bow or show respect to the queens unless she personally deems them as being worthy of it. She supports justice strongly and denounces the monarchy for this reason; dragons get gold, jewels, and power just for being hatched. She wants equality and believes Pyrrhia should be governed under a strict meritocracy. She despises animi for what she sees as frivolity and wasting of magic on personal conflicts when thousands of dragons could benefit from their magic. She also tends to see the larger picture. As a rule, Caracal tends to see the world at large as a lying, unsalvageable place full of crooks who try to cheat you. Caracal is personally a pacifist, but believes that bloodshed is occasionally necessary to serve higher ends. She will fight dragons and just knock them unconscious, rather than seriously injuring them. She will also sometimes slap dragons in the face when she's frustrated. She also holds often irrational grudges for years. Her coping mechanism for grief is finding someone to blame for whatever happened. She tends to be serious, but doesn't balk at humor…she likes black humor and satire, but not dirty jokes or slapstick.Caracal is also very conservative regarding swearing. She tends to say things like 'profanity' or 'obscenity' or even 'expletive' instead of actual swear words. If she wants to insult someone, she uses words like 'malefactor' or 'philistine'. At the same time, she can be sarcastic and occasionally taunting. Caracal is perfectly willing to lie if she believes it's right. She's generally fairly truthful, but will tell the little white lies almost everyone does ("oh, yes, that's a lovely necklace!") She also has a terrible temper. While she doesn't throw things, she does hurl insults she regrets, and tends to slap dragons, shout, or knock them unconscious. She doesn't like complainers, and has a regrettable tendency to slap them in the face. She is perfectly happy with her own company and is an introvert.
