before i begin...i just wanted to say that none of this is supposed to be hate at all. i still love and will still continue to support ive, newjeans, le sserafim, class:y, and lapillus. why do companies have to debut idols so young? the maknae of ive debuted at 14 years old. only 14. meanwhile the maknae of lapillus debuted at 13. and boa debuted at 13 and carried sm's entire industry. these people do amazing things for their ages. however, hybe + other agencies may have to consider waiting a little longer before debuting an idol. 13 is so, so, so young. imagine being 13, barely starting middle school and being pushed into the spotlight, and having to deal with h4t3 comments, s3xua1!z4t10n, h4r4ssm3nt, and stalkers at such a young age. wonyoung was only 14 at debut and she still gets so much hate. she's 17. let the girl be. not only that, but young idols (like 13, 14, 15 yrs old) are being forced to put on showy outfits and dance around provocatively, as well as sing (should i say, "suspicious") lyrics *ahem, cookie, ahem*. in my opinion, they should enjoy their childhood while they can. they should go out with their friends, go to school, be a kid in general. you only get one childhood. not only that, but companies force them to diet and have the correct "idol body" when they're like 14 years old and still growing? CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME- this is just my opinion but i have nothing against these idols/groups, i think they do amazing things at such a young age. ty for listening to my baby ted-talk ^^
