Welcome to the first ever Tournament Ever After the animation, use the arrow keys or spacebar or tap the screen to advance the slides. FYI, this is all just for fun. So if you don't make it to the first sessional, there is no need to get angry. I also won't be looking at too many of the entries until the due date so they're more of a surprise when it comes to judging. The entry round ends February 28th, 2023 All remix entries will be added to this studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/32555721 Please link your non-remix entries in the comments somewhere so I can add them to the studio. Uhhhh ask any questions you want and I will answer i think. Lots of questions have been asked now, so make sure to look through the comments before asking to see if the question has been asked before. I may put up a bit of an FAQ in the Notes and Credits. SirBob_Direct Idk where the ominous song came from. Other background music is from Splatoon 3 @Ax0lts for the lip sync template
if turnout is low around the time of the due date, ill push the end date back DUE DATE EXTENDED: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/792597468 friendly reminder that categories other than art exist FAQ Q: Is there a theme this round? A: No, since this is an entry round. Every round afterward, which won't be open entry, will have a theme or gimmick of some sort. Q: I am an AMV animator. What should I do since there is a theme next round? A: Find a song to animate to that fits the theme. Q: If I enter with an AMV, do I enter into Animations or Music? A: Music is for original works only, so AMVs would go into animation. Q: Do we have to set up teams? A: No. You basically enter into a category. In future rounds, you will not be competing against the others in your category, you'll be competing against those in other categories. Q: Can you do a different category each round? A: No. Whatever category you enter with here will be the category you stick with the whole way through. Q: What's the chance I move on to the next round? A: Idk, because who moves on is basically up to the judges. A certain number of people from each category will move on to the next round. Q: Can you submit multiple entries in one round? A: Only if it's an animation that's too long to fit into one project. Otherwise, you can only enter once. If you want to enter again, the original entry won't count and the new one will be the one that gets judged. Q: What happens if there aren't enough entries in one category by the due date? A: There are a couple of things. One is that the whole category could be removed, and the people in the category would either be unable to move onto the first sessional, or will have to choose a different category for the first sessional.
