you find yourself in a cold, snowy forest. it is nighttime and the crisp air fills your nostrils. on the horizon you see lights, a warm, welcoming orange glow. you exhale cold air, watching mist billow as the warm air meets the cold and you smile. you start your way for the warm light, and as you come closer it reveals itself to be a cabin, cozy and warm. The cold gale blows as you move to the door, sweeping the ends of your scarf and making the ends of your heavy coat dance. On the door you see a note, worn parchment written on with fine ink. {Happy Holidays to the weary traveler, feel free to settle here in my cabin while you gain your bearings.} You are momentarily suspicious, as hospitality this pure is hard to come by in the world. a cold wind draws you from your thoughts and you make the decision to go inside. upon entering, you are greeted with the warmth of the fireplace, crackling and letting the smell of the pinewood burning fill the room gently. the inside of the cabin is furnished with soft shades of red's and browns and beige. there is a comfortable looking couch ot the left of the doorway, looking lived in. through another doorway to the right yousee the tiled floor of a kitchen, directly ahead of you is the fireplace, stockings hanging from the mantle in deep reds and golds. you look to the left of the hearth and see a hallway, dimly lit in a way you find comforting. you stride forward, intent on exploring the cabin. the whole place is lit with a gentle golden glow, casting over the cabin a feeling of safety and warmth. Down the hallway lies three doors, made of solid oak wood. you open the doors and peer into the rooms, a bathroom, colored in a periwinkle blue pallete, and two bedrooms. (WIP)
