PROLOGUE ———————————————————————— Hello, Electric here, back at it again with some more writing pieces. And this time I got a banger. The Fire & Ice season in Rocket League dropped, and it gave me this novel idea. Omg, this isn't an animation. ———————————————————————— ONE ———————————————————————— My girlfriend and I were driving home after a big night at a party my friend Nick hosted. He turned 21, and it was a huge deal for him to pop open a bottle of liquor. It was pretty funny watching him sneeze while drinking. He was still laughing about it after we left. The sky's been acting weird lately, with the western half has been ablaze and everything under it incinerated, with the eastern half covered in ice. On the big Hawaiian island of Sparkonia, we're caught in the Eye, the middle where peace is served and the Fire and Ice is being deflected by a forcefield protecting the Island. I guess Hawaii's culture stopped all bad things. My girlfriend Helen looks up at the fiery clouds above. We watch as Alpha, the Fire Dragon, circles around the field, grabbing some spots in Omega's Ice territory. We watch as the War of Fire & Ice begins once more, shutting down the entire planet. Clouds disintegrate and disappear whilst Alpha launches its 4000 foot self straight towards Omega, who's shooting pellets of Ice shards. I immediately turn the Honda around and shoot straight to the Dome, a 15-mile long bunker specifically designed for this. The War of Fire & Ice has been going on for seven years. The forcefield isn't holding up much longer. Alpha flees. We cheer for Omega, the Ice dragon. It flies towards the island, giving us a White Christmas. We talk about how one day Alpha's going to surrender and hand over the world in Omega's rule. But according to legend, the Water dragon, Beta, doesn't like war and if the Ice dragon wins the War of Fire & Ice, the Water dragon shall rise and flood the world for 7000 years. After Qinvosikin Valtocava, the local 106-year-old storyteller told the children back in 1972 about this, all the parents told their kids, and so on. Beta has been found, but never has she even risen from her slumber that she went to in 1840, as far as anyone knows. She might have woken 7 years ago to spectate the legendary War of Fire & Ice. Another thing that Valtocava told the children, is that it is said that Beta is actually nicknamed the Dragon of Legends. It's also supposed to be the keeper of the Obsidian Orb, a black orb that can only be held by the winner of the next conflict between Alpha and Omega. And if anyone tries to touch the Orb, they immediately die and their current living loved ones. It's a sacred treasure that us Hawaiians have never dared to attempt to touch. ————————————————————————
