Hello hello and welcome to the Scratch Newspaper Camp Leader Applications for the session of February 2023! Scratch Newspaper Camp (SNC) is a triannual virtual writing camp which runs three times a year. You work together with your fellow campers to create a newspaper, while competing to earn points for your cabin! This session will run from the 1st of February 2023 to the 28th of February 2023. You get to decide how much you want to be online and when you will be! This camp died sometime in mid-2022, and is being revived by Willow (@Xx_Hermione_xX) and Iris (@Eeveedonut)! ※ When is my (co)leader application due? 10:00 PM UTC on December 20th. ※ When will you be choosing (co)leaders and how do co-leaders work? Willow and Iris will choose leaders on December 21 or 22 and the leaders will receive information about next steps, such as cabin planning and choosing their co-leaders. Each cabin needs 1 leader and 1-2 co-leaders. Willow and Iris will choose the leaders, and then the leaders have the responsibility of choosing 1, possibly 2, co-leaders to help them plan and lead their cabin. Furthermore, both Willow and Iris are available to be chosen as your co-leader if you get picked as leader ※ Is there a difference between leaders and co-leaders? Leaders have more responsibility than the co-leaders. They're in charge of more things than their co's, such as planning their cabin, etc. Co-leaders help out the leaders, but don't underestimate their responsibility! ※ What are the cabins? Reporter, Journalist, Editor, and Designer. More information on these cabins and what they do are in the project <3 ※ When are camper signups out? 10:00 PM UTC on January 1st! You can ask on either of the hosts' profiles to be notified! ※ How will I know if my application has been seen? One or both of us (@Xx_Hermione_xX and/or ) will like your application. I, Iris (), get a notification when you remix this project with your application, so no need to link it in the comments! By applying to be leader, you agree that in the event that you have to go inactive, you let the hosts know, transfer studio ownership and take any other necessary actions.
