Chapter 5 Sara's Perspective I'm not a secret to the students of Wilbur Academy. Everyone in the school knows about me, so most of the students get a little jumpy as they're walking to class and they feel a slight breeze. Even the staff gets nervous when they're the last one out of the classroom and they have to turn off the light! If Gill Marcus hadn't come to the school, I would still be loved and not feared by everyone. Ever since the new girl came to the school, I knew she was different. She shoved away the popular boy out of annoyance. She actually liked coming to school, unlike the other students. And she addressed me directly in a note. During the first passing period of the day, I continued to follow the new girl around. Or at least, I attempted to. A few times, I got lost in the crowd of students and I had to float to the top of the ceiling to find her again. However, before the final bell rang, I managed to follow her to her locker and see her taping a note on the metal door. Huh? I thought. That's weird. Students aren't allowed to add personal decorations until they're in high school. Surely the new girl would know and follow that rule. Curious, I drifted over to her locker and peeled the note off of the door. Carefully, I unfolded it and read: "Dear Sara, I know you've been following me ever since the first day of school. Liam told me that you like to do that with the new kids to make sure they get settled in. I'm sorry about what happened to you. Maybe I can even help you get revenge! Meet me in the boiler room during lunch. See you there, Amelia (the new girl)." I couldn't believe it. Amelia, the new girl, actually wanted to TALK to me! NO one wanted to talk to little old me, the Wilbur Academy ghost. I couldn't wait to meet her at lunch. Author's note: Thanks for reading, and see you again soon! ^^
