Morning came for the young boy, his name was Allen Mallory, and as his family name foretold, His life always was upside down, different from other kids. His mother had just been fired from another job, his father was stuck going from place to place, leaving the family stuck in a situation of having to leave, over and over and over again… Allen didn’t know much about jobs, taxes, bills all that for he was only 12, he had two brothers, one 8, His name was Violet. Now we have his youngest brother, Benjamin, who was 4, Their father hadn’t know of his existence yet, he was almost always at work now a days One, two, three knocks at the door, his mother walks in. “Good morning, Al,” She smiles gently, That warm smile he wishes he could see just once more… The little boy turns over, his arm caught entangled in his brothers, ah that’s right, Ben had a nightmare, poor guy… “oh dear,” she spoke, picking up Ben and cradling him, “When did he wake up? Do you remember?” She asks. Allen shook his head, “I don’t..” “I’m so sorry,” she said lovingly. The boy sat up and watched as his little brother, Ben, started to awake, he yawned and looked into his mother’s eyes The mother smiles, warmly once again, and the little boy begins to turn around to look at his brother, “Alleenn!” he spoke, he spoke… The mother looked at Allen as his eyes stared deeply, who knew what was up… And that’s when the world turned on the Mallory family, his mother had lost her job and this was the end… The now fourteen year old boy watched as his mother downgraded and went to drinking, always finding bottles in stacks or lying around wherever the mother had sat. How unfortunate, as the mother cried and yelled at their father for a little effort in the Mallory family… The boy only grew distant. To his parents, of course, He raised Violet and Ben on his own, having to sneak cash away to feed them as the mother sulked around, wasted on the booze she loved, and as the father went, who knew where, The three children had to live on their own, for the most part… “Allen!! ALL-” Ben got hit with a pillow that Violet had thrown. Allen shot a glimpse of the two from the novel he read, the two began to pillow fight, Unlike last time; They weren’t fighting. Allen chuckles, a small smile crept onto his face in moments as they played and fought. Violet fell to the carpet, right next to where Allen decided to sit, pretending to be dead. Ben stood in victory, placing his hands onto his hips and striking a winners pose. Oh the last winners pose he ever got to see “Mom!” The boy cried as his uncle, who trained boys to be used for military services from a young age, dragged him to the door by his wrist. He tried to rip his hand away and go to his fearful eyed brothers. This wasn’t of mother’s doing, how could it be? Why… Why did she? The boy caught a glimpse of his father walking in from the door behind the mother and his brothers, a fake smile croaked his face. That was his last memory… thats all m sharing so far i-i
