Tacos...they're an acquired taste. Now, here's a short history lesson. Hear me out. Tacos aren't tacos. They're just tostadas. A tostada, in case you don't know, is like an insanely loaded nacho. Not Nachos. Nacho. A big one too. It had meat and rice on it, and it was very popular in the 1800s. Until of course, the human race decided to make it more complex, or simple ( However you think about it. ), by snapping it in half and would eat it like a sandwich. ( Because the shells for tostadas were crispy and impossible to bend. ) So, people caught onto this new way of eating the tostada, and restaurants and stands decided to make the shell soft and doughy so people could eat it like a sandwich ( Sorta. ). And that was when the modern taco was born. It was a Mexican smash hit. And of course, the Americans found it. When they saw it, was some unhealthy mess. So, they added veggies. Did it help the health factor? No. They just made it look healthy. And here we are now. 2022, and tacos haven't really changed all that much.\ And that's tacos in the most simple way possible. Bye, frendos! <3 ( Song: Eminem - The Real Slim Shady )
