hallo i found a thing to post :0 right arrow or space for next pic, left arrow to go back i think i might be more active now bc i'm watching for @-cafecat-'s dta results for november. anyway i promised gossip and realized last min that i might not know what gossip is. - gossip - so if you're new here and haven't read the fever dream that is the comments i leave on my own profile, you wouldn't know how gay i am. it's incredible really, how one can be so lesbian and so terrified of ever talking to a woman in a non-platonic way. for reference, i'm out to everyone and their dog except my parents. i'm not afraid of being kicked out of the house or anything; it's just that little fear of being asked if i'm going through a phase or them asking what they did wrong :( regardless there's a girl in one of my classes, and when i say she gives me butterflies, i am not joking. her kindness, her voice, her face... i'm not one to wax romantic like this (even when i had a bf he was kind of... okay) but she's beautiful. and so, so, so straight. i know tons of people on this site that are successful at being gay, but i am incapable it seems. the social anxiety, amirite? anyway ever since being dumped mid- a very emotional time and metaphorically on the middle of an interstate highway in a cardboard box, i've really wanted that in-between of loving someone but not fearing the eventuality of being dropped. this song has kind of been my deterrent for any motivation to get into a relationship lately. i think a lot of baby gays can relate, and i wish you all the best of luck with your special people. share any sweet stories, or even heartbreaking ones in the comments <3 - art - this piece is heavily inspired by my own love for the red thread trope and soulmates. the reason i get into a lot of tropes i get into is because of the idea that someone is chemically/biologically/magically tied to loving you, and i think the red thread is one of the most delicate ways to share that. the second picture is the inspiration piece, and as you can probably see, i used a lot of the thread imagery and the opposing images while continuing the farce of symmetry. in addition, even though i was using a digital art software, i tried to make it more three-dimensional, as the original piece is 3d wood carving. - for funsies - if you got this far, drop your own perspective on the red string trope and maybe i'll drop a follow ;)
