DISCLAIMERS: the liquid in Hektor's glass is just Lucozade, a British brand of sports drink (think of it like Gatorade). Hence why the juice is orange. Secondly, this design isn't meant to indicate that I underwent some recent injury. As I've said before, Hektor Harrington is the main protagonist of my show, and he obviously shares a lot of traits with me. This ain't one of them, though. Use the arrow keys to cycle through the different poses. If you hold the key down then you can make a little animation out of them. There's something inside this project, by the way. I didn't get an animation out for the new year, so what I decided to do instead is tease what will be Hektor's future design in TWOHHS. A lot of 2022 had been spent planning and writing the future of TWOHHS: fleshing out and developing the characters, connecting previous plot points, and introducing new ones that relate to the older ones, for a streamlined explanation. Hopefully, an episode can be released later this year, though I wouldn't count on it given how its estimated runtime exceeds 20 minutes. The year is looking long, I'll tell you that much. Now then, the next two episodes in the season's lineup - "The Void" and "Promise" - will show how Hektor acquired his broken arm and head injury. The former of the two episodes has been fully written (clocking in at 30 pages), and is currently in the process of being animated. I'll list a few of the things that these two episodes (and other future ones, mind you) will expand upon: - Why Hektor, Guigo and Ozeul grew apart over the years - How Hektor fell into The Void, and how/if he can escape it - Ambrosia and The Reaper (the latter being featured in the series intro)'s purposes - Hektor's relationship with his brother Excalibur - How and why Hektor and Virus know each other - The reasons behind Hektor's rise to fame in Braston Town after his fight against Virus - A lot about Hektor's descent into depression, his philosophies, his morals, and his... motives. - The GAB III incident + and much more. Also, a little retcon worth mentioning is that the time period between Chapter 4: Chaos in Town and The Void is more than just one year. I'd say about 3, to be frank. I'm working on another teaser project; this one being an animation featuring Hektor and his cookie friend, Gingerbread Hektor. That's all I'll say for now regarding that. So the general schtick with Hektor's eyes is that they'll change depending on his mood and the situation he's in. I remember that redesign I teased last year, and how the general consensus was... less than positive, to say the least. You could say this is a response in some way to the feedback I got, to show my improvement in art and facial expressions throughout the years. Credit to Bojack Horseman and Moral Orel. He is not what you thought he was.
