Before I start off, there are like four different sections to this Some of you guys need to learn what the term credit should be used for. Today, I came across a thread asking for credits because someones username started with the same 3 letters as theirs did. Like bro, WHAT? Some of you guys go way too overboard with credits, and at this point its become a trademarking war just to see your projects/content not being used twice. Saying “This project idea is original, please dont use it without credit” is by far the most dumbest thing ever. Anyone could’ve easily used that idea before (unless it was original original) and posted it on scratch before you did. What are you going to do then, get on your knees and beg for credits? There are some things that require credits, like slide transitions and project ideas, however begging for credits just because someone used the same three letters as you is actually the most dumbest thing I have come across today. Not only that, but the term “underrated” has also been really watered down nowadays and its been being thrown around in every possible situation. The term “underrated” means: “not rated or valued highly enough”, according to google. A proper user that is clearly underrated could be @wonlita (btw if u see this I ADORE your sets), as they make amazing content yet their follow count is dangerously low. That is the proper term of underrated. However, saying a person with over 400 followers is “underrated” is by far stretching it too far. One time I came across a user saying Twice (Yes, one of the biggest girl groups) was a NUGU group. Do you even know what that means? Twice is not a nugu group, not even close to that level. A nugu group could be like Fifty Fifty or Pink Fantasy, definitely not Twice. One more thing, saying edits or sets are useless. Who are you to say the type of content someone makes is useless? I get that its your opinion but keep in mind if you’re going to post about it, you’re obviously gonna make someone feel upset. Saying that sets are useless just because they don’t have any code is ridiculous. As a previous set maker, I can assure you it didn’t take me 5 minutes to make a set, it used to take me 15-20 (probably varies on the person though) and making 2 took me at least an hour. Same thing with edits, they don’t take 5 minutes. Most people take around 45 minutes to TWO hours to make one. Saying that they’re “useless” is stupid. People actually spend time on those and I get it may be your personal preference, but its so rude. They don’t take 5 minutes, they take a lot of time. They’re beautiful and amazing. Content shouldn’t be a war around here. They’re all equal and take time. Also, don’t jump to conclusions just because a famous scratcher said to attack someone. I’m sure some of you were involved in this situation, but one of my friends, A (not mentioning users), was attacked by my other friend, B, and I had to pick sides. I was disgusted seeing how many people were attacking A without any proof and knowing their side of the story. They ended up moving on and luckily they stopped. Anyways, what I’m trying to imply is that you shouldn’t immediately jump on the hate train. There are two sides of the story, don’t assume you know everything after just seeing one. Anyways yeah thanks for coming to my ted talk please don’t attack me xx
