~> It's time for storytime! :D ~ . ~ . :: Hallo! Welcome to storytime with Orchid. :] ::Today I shall be talking abt how I almost burnt my house down. ~ . ~ It was any day like the others, It was abt 6:00 and I was making dinner--so I got Lasagna from the freezer and put it in the microwave! The instructions said to put it in for 3 mins, so I did. At first I put 30 mins on accident so I restarted the microwave and put 3 mins in! ...Or so I thought. Then, I was comfortable with life and decided to go onto my computer which was right beside the kitchen in the library. I was SO excited to eat Lasagna, too!! After some time, I realized I smelled smoke. I looked over into the kitchen And saw smoke up at the top of the archway that led to the library. I quickly looked at the stove to see if anything was there, and I got confused. There wasn't any smoke there. Then, I looked over to the microwave. I looked at the timer and it showed that there was abt 11 mins left until it "finished cooking".There was smoke coming from THERE! I slowly opened the microwave, stopping the timer n' stuffs, and a BUNCH of smoke came out! I looked at my Lasagna and It was BLACK. And there was a cover that I put over it so it would cook better earlier, and it was FELD INSIDE OF ITSELF!! (It was PLASTIC.) I nervously went over to my mom who was in the living room and I tapped her on the shoulder. "Momm..?" I said. "Yes?" She answered. I told her how I accidentally put in my Lasagna for 30 mins and asked her to look at it. She put on mittens and took the cover out and washed it in water. There was smoke coming out of it, aswell! She also took out the lasagna, put it on a plate, and told me to put it outside since it was crackling. I was holding my cat, worried that she could inhale the smoke and die like Yellowfang did. (If anyone gets that reference-) My mom told me to put her downstairs, which I did. I put the lasagna outside and my mom put the little spinner thing from the microwave that makes ur food spin also outside. There was smoke EVERYWHERE and it smelt HORRIBLE!! It takes a long time to get smoke out of houses, too! Then I went downstairs with my cat, told my grandparents what happened, (they live with us) and my grandfather immediately went upstairs. My grandmother was sleeping at the time so she didn't know what had happened. Since then we put up fans in places to get the smoke out and turned up our ceiling fans all the way. And that's all there is to the story! (this happened yesteday ;-;") We're all okay, and the smoke mostly got out overnight -w-" ~ . ~ . ~ The End! <3
