this is an aesthetic rant. so I've seen lots of people in the aesthetic community use languages, mainly east asian languages [Chinese, Japanese and Korean] in their descs. Most of the people just use them for "aesthetic decor." If you're actually east asian, that's totally fine. You should be proud to be east asian, and maybe you're just trying to translate your descs. That's good. But people who use descs with east asian characters in it that are just trying to be aesthetic are just insulting east asians. Not only are they insulting east asians, but they might be offending other countries too. It's unfair to other people and cultures that are not recognized enough. I am literally a person who is born to Chinese immigrants, and seeing people use my language as an aesthetic decoration makes me frustrated that people are just appreciating my culture and race for "aesthetic looks" and not the actual traditions and cultural history and arts. It's nice that you like our cultures, but please don't use our language for aesthetic purposes. Sometimes the stuff people type can translate to something hurtful, inappropriate or rude. Sometimes people also pretend to be east asian to gain recognition as an "aesthetic person". Please don't think like that. East asians shouldn't be known as aesthetic people. Other countries shouldn't be less recognized. Everyone is equal. You should be proud of your own culture and its a good idea to be open minded and learn about others as well. There are other ways to make your descs look aesthetic and organized, such as using aesthetic symbols. You don't have to master a certain language or physical appearance just to be aesthetic. Being yourself is good enough. Okay this is my first rant. I'm sorry if it sounds uneducated or just overall cringe.
