══════════════ ≪ °❈° ≫ ═══════════════ *Crashes in through a window* Salutations Jolly-Happy-Soul, 'tis Christmas... Eve, and you are one of my chosen victims to receive a gift. :'D Now, you were a tough one to figure out. While I partly wanted to continue my pattern of making animatics (whoopsie, guess I just spoiled the other gif--), I wasn't sure what to do. I'm too unfamiliar with the Six to Rise characters and plotline to pick a song and a theme, but the characters of yours I am a little more used to are all humans. And although my desire to continue drawing humans is present, it's extremely rare for me to actually do so, and whenever I actually WANT to draw them, I proceed to fail in doing so. It's weird. So I instead settled for a comic panel redraw, and of course I simply had to draw my favorite little Butter Knife Man. He's such a pretty little kitty, and yet so... complicated to draw. This time around, instead of that monstrosity of a cotton ball I drew the last time I made art of him, I was actually kind of inspired to draw him like an off-brand cheetah. While this was an accident initially, it made sense to me, primarily because of the name of his theme song, AND also because he... kind of reminds me of a cheetah? Something about cheetahs reminds me of someone who's cunning and slippery; someone who has a tendency towards... cheeting. ... *Clears throat* Moving on. Bladed, especially in this frame, kind of reminds me of this estranged and trouble-making older brother who thinks that his younger siblings are clueless and utterly helpless without him. Just in general, Bladed kind of reminds me of an older brother. I'm not sure that's what you were going for when you were writing him in this chapter, but my brain has accepted this as canon for some reason. So just know that if he does end up doing something... questionable, I will be pretty heartbroken, pfft. :') He's my favorite character so far, but I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up liking Wisp too. Whenever I think of her, I think of Oogway, or Rafiki for some reason. Actually speaking of Wisp, I'm not sure I entirely trust what Bladed said about her? I was pretty surprised when he started going on about how dangerous she is, or that she's working on something. It almost leads me to believe that perhaps she and Bladed had some kind of history, and that maybe she's dangerous towards HIM specifically, but because HE'S doing something bad. I don't know. This can go either way. Or perhaps they're both bad in their own respects. Or they're both good. Or maybe Bladed is somehow connected to what happened to Starlight and Crescent's village-- though I kind of doubt it. Bah, I'm getting off topic. I'm just looking forward to the rest of Six to Rise ahh. :'P I also just wanted to thank you for being a good friend. You're always very fun to joke around with, and it's been my joy and honor to talk with you, whether in a serious tone or not. I'd just like to encourage you to keep writing and to keep drawing, and to take breaks when they're necessary. I admire your dedication, persistence, and your creativity.
