Press space to switch page! Link to studio: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/32592830/ I made this project because more and more everyday I am seeing homophobia or queerphobia in either comments or projects. The people who are doing this are hurting the queer community and need to stop. It doesn't matter if you're in the community or not, the queerphobia needs to stop! Everyone in the community who is being queerphobic thinks they're not being rude because they're in the community. People, you can be homophobic even if you're gay the same way you can be racist if you're African American, and, quite frankly, neither is okay. PLEASE make this stop!! Alice Oseman (wrote Heartstopper) wrote this book called Loveless about a girl who is discovering she's aro/ace. The book is rated young adult, but I read it anyway. In one part of the book, Sunil (nonbinary, gay, asexual) is hosting a pride event for the Pride Soc, and Lloyd, the former president walks in. The thing about Lloyd is that he is gay and cis, but he hates other queer people, and starts yelling at Sunil for letting in "too many" people. Lloyd says that Sunil is not doing a good job because he is letting in anyone and Lloyd seems to think that things like aromantic and asexual are made-up internet identities. The scene is amazing because of how well Sunil stands up for the whole queer community. This is what needs to be happening on Scratch (the standing up part, not the bullying part)
