I ᴛʜɪɴᴋ... I ᴛʜɪɴᴋ ɪᴛs sᴀꜰᴇ. I blinked open my bloody, aching eyes. I tried to sit up, but I couldn't. I looked up at the darkening sky. Dᴜsᴋ. It came back to me. The purple wolf's insane, laughing face as she burned dad. I looked around. Wʜᴀᴛ ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ᴛʜᴇ ᴏᴛʜᴇʀs? I saw a white pelt crouched over a grey body, sobbing. I stumbled up onto my weak feet, limping over whilst clutching my messy, bleeding side wound. "Mother," I said softly to the cat. She turned to look at me. "Storm..." Whispered mother softly. I turned and looked at the limp body of my father. His bright yellow eyes stared straight up into my soul. Tears filled my eyes. "No, no.. no no no." I sobbed. Mother stood up, suddenly full of strength. "We can make it to the Closely Guarded Secret if we're fast enough," Growled mother. Oʜ, ᴡᴏᴡ.. ᴛʜᴇ Cʟᴏsᴇʟʏ Gᴜᴀʀᴅᴇᴅ Sᴇᴄʀᴇᴛ. "Go get Stormless and Dawn." I nodded and looked around for them. I saw a purple body below a cat, blood dripping from her pale cream paws. "Dawn.." I whispered. Dawn looked up at her, a strange look on her face. "How could I... kill my own sister?" hissed Dawn. I shook my head. "You did it for a reason," I growled softly. "Come on, we're escaping this place to The Closely Guarded Secret. A lot of cats and wolves were watching though, you'll have to change your identity." Dawn sighed. "But... what?" She asked, her head tilting. "What about Dawningpeace? It has your name in it, and it's what you gave to us by killing Dusk." I said, shivering at the last part. I guessed that might've come out wrong, but Dawn didn't. "Dawningpeace," She said softly. "I like it." ❝ Tʜᴇɴ ʟᴇᴛ's ɢᴏ. ❞
