Tʜᴇʏ'ʀᴇ ᴄᴏᴍɪɴɢ. "Dig faster, Skipper!" Yell Silverback and Wasp in unison. I whimper at the thought of Monarch hurting me or my siblings. The *thought* of Monarch or Bee forces me to plough quicker at the dirt. Honeybee and Wasp are staring behind us. This is by far the scariest thing that's ever happened to us. Silverback is pacing back and forth, tears dripping from her eyes. Soon the tunnel is big enough to fit all four of them. "Quickly! C'mon!" I whisper, but it's not enough. Six Insectis have arrived, and one is lunging straight at me. Snarling, Wasp leaps in front of me, stingers extending from his claws. He lifts one paw and rakes it across the bug wolf's face. The Insecti falls backward, clutching his face. Out of the corner of my eye, I see my mother land. She is a giant, burly red wolf. She whips her sharp tail stinger out and stabs it at the nearest Insecti soldier. "RUN!" She shrieks at them. Nervously he turns and rushes down the pathway, his siblings following close behind. "Where do we go?" He whispers nervously. Honeybee looks up at him, a worried look on his face. ❝ Wᴇ'ʀᴇ ɢᴏɪɴɢ ᴛᴏ ᴛʜᴇ Cʟᴏsᴇʟʏ Gᴜᴀʀᴅᴇᴅ Sᴇᴄʀᴇᴛ. ❞
