(There is a background for the entry, sometimes it glitches and doesn't want to show it - press P x2. Also click to zoom and any key to see the next art piece.) Hi! Here I've made another DTA Entry! :D I'm excited because I drew this one on SketchBook, which allowed more to used more advanced settings than scratch. It was actually a really long process, as I drew this on paper, then scanned it, then uploaded it to Sketchbook (which took a while), then traced it. But then it deleted. Though I was saved because I had a screenshot! I had to trace it like a billion times, so if the outline looks a bit weird that's why. So here we are, all finished. (Also, unfortunately I couldn't upload the actual image as the file type was wrong, so I hade to screenshot it - which is why it looks fuzzier than it should.) Hope you like it! :) Credits: Design & code: @Kaidross 1st image base: Ringo242 on toyhouse DTA entry background: Google music: "in between" by atlas
_________________________________________________ • Fearn • Female • Optimistic/shy • Likes painting, leaves & nature, & cloud gazing • Dislikes loud spaces & large civilizations ___________________________________________ Fearn loves to lie in the many meadows surrounding her cottage, and stare up at the sky with wide eyes. She enjoys picking leaves from different types of bushes and trees to add to her collection, which she either lays around her cottage or plants in the gardens around her home. As Fearn is isolated from civilizations, she is quite nervous and shy in company, though she does have a few close friends which she enjoys being with. She was raised in a quiet town just north of the Appalachian Mountains. Fearn always used her watercolour paints to try to capture the beauty of the mountains, and dreamed of living there and exploring the many meadows surrounding them. Now, she has a peaceful life in a miniature cottage beside the mountains, and uses her watercolours to paint all her surroundings! ___________________________________________ Fern swept her brush over her canvas, sending a river of cloudy blue colour spreading across it. She tipped her head before looking out her speckled window at the magnificent picture spread out before her. Rolling mountains reached subtly to the sky, blanketed in a dimpled layer of plants. The shades of the sky melted together in a magnificent display of colours- gold fading into gentle pink, pale blue blending into breathtaking purple. Clouds drifted across the sky, turned rose by the delicate hue of the sunset. Fearn swept her brush along her canvas again, smiling as the colours blurred into each other. She was almost finished. Fearn opened her creaky door. She padded into her meadow, feeling the soft grass tickle her feet, relishing the feeling of the fresh evening air going down her lungs. She spotted a huge tree, leaves bushed in a thick sphere. She picked a soft, dark green leaf, similar to the colour of the green in her painting, before slipping inside her cottage and taking a seat in front of her canvas. She laid the canvas on her windowsill, before placing the frond at the base of her painting. "There." she said, before looking out as the sun slowly disappeared behind the mountains, outlining them in bronze. "Perfect." :) <3
