-- HOW TO PLAY -- Pieces: 1. Soldier Evolution of: Pawn The soldier moves like the original King, one square in any direction, but can only capture forward. 2. General Evolution of: Rook The general can move like a knight, in that weird L shape, OR it can move like a rook, any number of squares forward, back or to the side. Even though it can move like a knight, it CANNOT jump over pieces. When capturing a soldier, it “recruits” and the general’s side gains a soldier. 3. Sniper Evolution of: Knight The sniper can move 5 or MORE squares in any direction. It CAN jump over pieces. Pretty powerful, don’t you think? Well, to capture a piece, though, it must NOT be next to that piece, but it must not be more than 3 squares away. 4. Medic Evolution of: Bishop The medic cannot capture pieces. It moves like the bishop, but it can bounce off walls. Literally. Upon reaching the other side of the board, it is able to choose a dead piece on its team to revive and bring back. After this it must immediately move back until it is out of range of being captured (it ONLY does this after reaching the other side of the board). After the medic is CAPTURED by any piece on the opposing team, that team gets to revive a dead piece. 5. Vice Commander Evolution of: King The vice commander moves 2 or fewer squares in any direction, and captures normally, but if it moves 2 squares, and BOTH of those squares have pieces on them, it can capture both of those pieces. 6. Commander Evolution of: Queen The commander moves 1-3 squares in any direction, and captures normally, and CAN castle with a general. Now, what happens when a commander dies? The army falls into chaos. So, if the commander is captured, all of its remaining soldiers die, and its generals can no longer recruit, and its vice commander dies. You win by capturing all of your opponent's pieces. That's pretty much it, enjoy!
