Their father was exiled soon after for treason and losing his flower, and become a lost soul by the name of Nemesis. Their mother loved them dearly but could barely care for herself in her grief, and Raven was then adopted by Lilyflower, their maternal aunt. Riversnap, on the other hand, was adopted by Melancholypledge. The brothers then drifted apart since they weren't aware of their own lineage. Rave had been a lively and troublesome apprentice who enjoyed invading others' privacy and playing pranks. At 12 moons, young Rave left for his journey and was met with frightening forces. He fell ill soon after, and only lived from the kindness of a loner named Dewy who fed him and gave him a warm nest to live in till he had to go home. He changes much over the course of his journey, into a much more matured tom.
