I saw some people doing this so I thought why not do it as well... I did it. In doing so, I realized how inconsistent my art style has been and how chaotic is it. Anyways hope you enjoy :PP (IGNORE THE UGLY TN... I JUST GAVE UP HALFWAY THROUGH MAKING IT) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- description: jan: dmce for a contest (@Coral_123's contest / @Swan_Lakes) / my 2nd or 3rd time using kleki. xDD I remember how proud I was of it, I thought it looked cute . feb: a dafciyse, I drew hermionie granger from harry potter. I realized after a few times drawing that the eyes I drew lacked something... eyelashes, tries incoorperating that. . mar: fan/friend art for @_--froggo--_. okay so I love this character so much (I still do)! I had so much fun drawing it and this was around the point that I figured out that the faces I drew were to triangular to I curved my edges more. . apr: idk what happened, I can't find a single of art from april so I can only assume that I gave up on art from a month and struggled with an art crisis xDD . may: woo a comeback, this one I really loved, this was an AT with @SquishyQueen2. I came back with a new art style that I was very satisfied with for once and that I was able to keep consistent for a short while. . jun: art request for @Sage-studioes, I remember struggling with drawing the hair but the braid turned out pretty well. After this drawing this 'new' art style of mine faded away, I started feeling like my art wasn't detailed enough and that I could do much better. . jul: spent most of july fuming over my art style become frustrated and angry at myself. I started drawing traditionally in hopes that it would help me find a new art style. This was also when I started sketching before I did lineart because in the past months I always went straight into lineart without sketching. This was a DTAE for 's contest, I was proud of this one the colors and a new art style. . aug: august comes along and is hosting a dmc that I decide to join. I actually made 2 entries for this contest you can see them somewhere in my shared projects. This was one that I was just bursting with happiness over, I love how simple it was (*cough* what happened to wanting more details??) and I felt like this was the art style I could stick with. . sept: wow.... guess I didn't stick with that art style, I started sketching on paper again cause 'I didn't like my art style' (RIP my past art styles) and I came up with this. This was shared the last day of september because I spent most of August admiring my DMC entry and debating whether I should continue doing art on this acc. I knew I had to share something so I joined a dmc. . oct: october comes around and I start becoming frustrated with kleki, I would literally start drawing and 3 minutes later scribble over the canvas and close the tab. I reverted back to vector art which I hadn't done in a while. I took a drawing I drew traditionally when I had been experimenting with more new art styles and turned it into a character for as part of our dt . nov: still stickin' with vector. this was my 2nd entry for dmac, my first one was in kleki, I actually love it, I working on my shading and highlighting in that one. This was my 2nd entry and I basically was experimenting with a more circular eye style and round head, turned out well and I was happy that for once I was able to make something in sve with an outline that didn't look weird. . dec: I finished this yesterday. It's a holiday gift for , you might ask why the sudden change to drawing animals. Well, here's the answer I drew a cat as a holiday gift for and after drawing that I was like 'hmm I like drawing animals much better than hoomans now' xDD so I decided to continue with drawing animals into drawing a blue bird for songs.
