IMPORTANT: As with all my projects, Turbo Mode will yield better performance. It is not technically necessary for this project, but trust me, you'll want it. Project with just the music generation: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/782837234 Project with custom rhythm game thing: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/782838617 -Use Z to progress dialogue. Use X to skip to the end of the dialogue line. ___________________________________________ The project has two main components. First, it randomly generates a song using code. Second, it uses the generated song in a very basic and stock rhythm game where you have to hit the right notes using number keys (1-4) at the right times. On my end at least, the program works pretty well, but Scratch does have some trouble generating the notes at the proper rate and can imbalance delay times. If the program has to process more code in between notes, the subsequent note will play later than it should. Enjoy this rhythm game with no rhythm. Maybe you can finally teach LB to dance in a way that is at least slightly improved.
All credit obviously goes to @cs4038443 who made the core of this project. My expansions hardly begin to match the utter beauty of the original, but I hope that my remix holds some worth.
